Who Are We?

The IDA Training Academy has its genesis in the IDA Law firm. Started in 2010 by entrepreneurs and attorneys-at-law Wahid Ismail and Atish Dahya, Ismail & Dahya Attorneys offers a range of comprehensive legal solutions.

They specialise in credit solutions and more specifically debt collection, as well as commercial, civil and labour law. They also offer integrated business process outsourcing (BPO) and property management solutions.

So what has this got to do with training?

Fair question. The two directors decided to channel their passion for youth development into a fully fledged training academy. Rather than “winging it” they reached out to the experts in learning and development and brought on board Bajith Panday from Eduskills, an accredited company since 2007.

Together these three partners will blaze a trail for youth development in the contact centre industry.

Deeply rooted in our philosophy is the abiding belief that human beings are our greatest asset. Our training philosophy is therefore grounded in this philosophy.

If you choose us you will be choosing an accredited provider who goes beyond the conventional portfolios of evidence to actually developing the person as a whole within a real call centre environment.

This means that after our learners graduate we will offer them a minimum period of on the job training in our own call centre.
